every job from start to finish with the same amount of
diligence and concern. We treat every job the same way; As
if it's our only customer.

Customers' art files come into our Mac-based Art
department in a digital form and are quickly
evaluated. A proof is constructed in 3 to 5 working
days and either faxed or over nighted back to the
customer for final approval. Once we receive
approval, these files are reconfigured to fit our
die templates and sent to the RIP for imaging. |

Our State of the Art Linotronic 300 Imagesetter
and RIP are the key to creating the high quality
film needed to produce the finest printing plates
used in the industry today. |

Our Fully Equipped, in house, State of the Art Design
Department is on call, ready to take any concept from start
to finish.
Any time a colorful, attractive, well designed label is applied to a
product, its chances of being sold in a retail environment
greatly increase. Good design is the cornerstone to any
marketing strategy and Label Makers Design staff has the
experience and skill to create a label that lets your
product not only stand out from the rest, but allows your
product to SHINE!

Digital Artwork Requirements
All Media Must Be Created On A Macintosh Based Platform.
Files Can Be Sent Via E-Mail or Supplied on 3.5 Floppy Disks, CD-R
or CD-RW Disks, 100 OR 250MB Zip Disks.
All Documents Must be Created in One of the following Programs:

Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (or earlier)

Adobe Illustrator 10 (or earlier)
-
Quark Express 5.0 (or earlier)
-
Freehand 9 (or earlier)
In the event that a document is not created in one of these
programs, certain programs allow you to save a document in an EPS
format (Encapsulated Postscript) file format. This is usually
acceptable.
We ask that all Customers include a copy of any and all postscript
printer and screen fonts with their disks or cartridges. (PC Fonts
are of NO USE to us.)
We also insist that all disks be clearly labeled and be accompanied
by some type of low resolution print-out.
Label Makers Inc. is a Flexographic Print Shop. Unlike Offset
Printing, our method of printing requires us to use a lower
resolution line screen when creating our film. Because of a number
of complicated procedures involved in our prepress preparation, we
DO NOT recommend that customers send in their own film. Doing so
usually results in a monumental waste of time and money for the
customer.
